Introducing the cheekymono bookshop

I’m so excited to introduce something new: the cheekymono bookshop!

Books are a big part of cheekymono classes. As a mum, a children’s yoga teacher and someone who believes in the power of creativity and thoughtful living, I wanted to create a little corner of the internet filled with books worth sharing.

You’ll find a carefully curated collection exploring children’s yoga and mindfulness, emotional wellbeing, creativity and self-expression, nature, kindness and the world around us.

These are books chosen to spark conversations, encourage little imaginations and help families find meaningful moments together. They’re lovely for bedtime stories, quiet afternoons, yoga sessions or simply creating a more colourful, thoughtful home.

Introducing the cheekymono bookshop! A growing collection of books chosen with love, from children's yoga and mindfulness to creativity, nature and stories to share together. Thoughtful reads for curious minds and colourful childhoods, all in one place.

The bookshop also supports independent bookshops through Bookshop.org, helping you discover your next favourite read while supporting independent bookselling.

Looking ahead: Colour Friday, Christmas and thoughtful gifting

Christmas is now well and truly on the horizon! November brings Colour Friday, a moment to pause and think about how we shop, what we buy and who we support. Rather than getting swept up in the rush of Black Friday and Cyber Monday discounts, Colour Friday encourages us to celebrate creativity, independent businesses and the people behind the products we love.

If you know cheekymono, you’ll know that thoughtful shopping has always been part of what I do. I believe in buying less, choosing well, supporting small businesses and finding things that bring genuine joy.

Last year, I shared a blog explaining why I don’t take part in Black Friday and why I believe there’s another way to approach Christmas shopping. If you missed it, it’s well worth a read. Read my blog: Why I don't do Black Friday

Shop thoughtfully, celebrate colourfully. Colour Friday, happening later this month, is about celebrating creativity, supporting independent businesses and choosing with intention rather than getting swept up in Black Friday.

Meanwhile, the cheekymono Christmas shop is open! If you’re starting to think about gifts, you can already explore colourful prints, thoughtful finds and gifts for brilliantly bold kids and joyful families.

I’ll also be sharing gift guides and more Christmas inspiration over the coming weeks, with ideas to help you shop thoughtfully, celebrate colourfully and find gifts that mean a little more. Explore the Christmas shop

Here’s to a colourful November

Whether you’re joining us on the yoga mat, discovering a new favourite book or getting a head start on Christmas, thank you for being part of the cheekymono community. Every booking, purchase, recommendation and share helps this little independent business grow, and I’m so grateful to have you here.

Here’s to a month filled with movement, creativity, connection and a little more colour.
