Yoga classes, workshops & events terms

My aim is to create joyful, inclusive and welcoming spaces where children, families and grown-ups can move, play, connect and simply be themselves.

To help keep everyone safe and ensure that classes, workshops and events are enjoyable for all, please take a moment to read the information below. These terms apply to all cheekymono offerings, including children's yoga, family yoga, adult yoga, workshops and community events.

By attending a class or event, you agree to these terms and acknowledge your responsibility for your own wellbeing and that of any children in your care. If you have any questions, concerns or additional needs, please don't hesitate to get in touch before attending — I'm always happy to help.

Before you attend

The safety and wellbeing of all participants is very important to us. By attending any cheekymono yoga class, workshop or event, you confirm that:

  • You and/or your child are physically able to participate safely.

  • You have disclosed any relevant medical conditions, injuries, allergies, additional needs or medications prior to attending.

  • You understand that yoga and movement-based activities involve physical activity and carry an element of inherent risk.

  • You accept full responsibility for assessing your own and your child's suitability to participate.

  • Participation is entirely voluntary and at your own risk.

All participants may be required to complete a registration or waiver form before attending classes or events.

Parent & Guardian Responsibilities

For children's and family classes, parents and guardians remain responsible for their children at all times.

This includes:

  • Before and after the session.

  • During any breaks.

  • If a child chooses to leave the main activity area.

  • When accompanying children to toilets or other facilities.

Children attending family sessions should remain with their parent or guardian throughout the event unless otherwise agreed in advance.

Participation & Personal Responsibility

Guidance, demonstrations and support will be provided throughout classes and workshops. However, participation is self-directed and entirely at your own discretion.

You are responsible for:

  • Listening to and following instructions and ensuring children under your care do the same.

  • Practising within your own abilities.

  • Stopping any activity that causes pain, discomfort or concern.

  • Informing the instructor if you become unwell or injured.

cheekymono, its instructors and venues cannot accept responsibility for injuries, losses or damages arising from participation except where required by law.

Behaviour Expectations

We want all classes and events to feel welcoming, inclusive and enjoyable. Participants are expected to:

  • Treat others with kindness and respect.

  • Listen to instructions when given.

  • Avoid behaviour that may put themselves or others at risk.

  • Respect personal space and boundaries.

  • Avoid mobile phone usage inside class space. Photos should only be taken of your own children unless permission has been sought in advance from the whole class.

  • Help create a calm and positive environment for everyone.

Simple class guidelines will be explained at the start of each session. We reserve the right to ask participants to leave if behaviour is unsafe, disruptive or inappropriate.
