FAQ's

Who are your classes for? We offer children's yoga, family yoga, Curious Club adventures, creative workshops and seasonal events, mostly in Folkestone and Sandgate. Children's yoga is split into ages to align classes better to developmental needs, we offer toddler yoga to 2-3 year olds that is practiced alongside an adult (parent or guardian). And kids yoga age groups are generally aged 4-6, 6-8 and 8-10. Does my child need experience with yoga? Not at all! Classes are playful, inclusive and suitable for beginners. There's no such thing as being "good" at yoga and no pressure to get things "right". Yoga is a non-competitive sport and we encourage only self improvement in class. What should we wear? Comfort is key. We recommend clothes that are easy to move in and bare feet where possible to avoid slipping on the mat. Leggings, tracksuit bottoms or fitted shorts are ideal. See more guidance on our 'yoga policies' page Do I need to stay with my child? For family classes, events and toddler yoga (aged 2-3 years) yes. Parents and guardians remain responsible for their children at all times, including toilet breaks and before and after sessions. During older kids classes the child practicies in the space independtly whilst the parents wait closeby. For most of our classes we have a designated waiting space with seating tea and coffee for the accompanying adult. Are your classes inclusive? Absolutely. Families come in all shapes and sizes and everyone is welcome. If you or your child have additional needs or accessibility requirements, please get in touch before attending and we'll do our best to support you. What if cost is a barrier? We believe joyful experiences should be accessible to everyone. Many of our classes and events include supported places and 'pay it forward' tickets, funded by the kindness of our community. If cost is preventing you from attending, please get in touch, we'll likely be able to offer you a bursary place – no judgement and no questions asked. Do you run free events? Yes! We regularly host free family yoga sessions and community events. Sign up to our newsletter or follow us on social media to hear about them first.

Are your products fair trade? Many of our products are sourced through trusted BAFTS Fair Trade Network UK suppliers, ensuring ethical production and fair working conditions. Supporting artisan craftsmanship and thoughtful shopping is at the heart of everything we do. Are your products handmade? Many of our products are handmade or handcrafted. This means slight variations in colour, size and finish are part of their charm and make each piece wonderfully unique. Where are your products shipped from? Most orders are packed and posted from Folkestone, Kent by Sara. Some items, including books and certain made-to-order products, are fulfilled by trusted partners. Please refer to the individual product page for specific information and estimated delivery times. Do you deliver internationally? At present we only offer standard delivery within the UK. However, if there's something you've fallen in love with, please email us before placing your order. Depending on the item, we may be able to arrange international shipping. What makes your prints special? All cheekymono prints are original designs created by Sara and inspired by family, Peruvian heritage and a love of joyful living. They're designed to bring colour, positivity and personality to children's bedrooms, playrooms and colourful homes. What is a Giclée print? A Giclée print (pronounced "Jee-Clay") is a museum-quality archival inkjet print. We use best-in-class Epson SureColor printers capable of producing exceptional detail and colour accuracy. Our prints are produced on beautiful Hahnemühle Bamboo 290gsm paper, made from 90% bamboo fibres and 10% cotton. Not only is it environmentally friendly, but it also offers superb colour density and longevity, ensuring your artwork can be treasured for years to come. Do you offer personalised prints? Yes! Many of our designs can be personalised with names, initials, colours and special messages, making them wonderful gifts for little ones and their families. How do I order a personalised print? Select your chosen print and complete the personalisation options in the online shop. We'll begin creating your artwork. Within approximately 5-10 days, we'll email you a digital proof for approval or any requested changes. Once you're happy, we'll send the artwork to print. Printing, quality checks and delivery usually take around a further week. How long does a personalised print take? Please allow approximately 7–14 working days for the complete process, although this may vary during busy periods such as around Christmas time. If you need your order for a particular date, please get in touch before ordering. Depending on capacity, we'll always do our best to help. What if I don't respond to the proof email? Please keep an eye on your inbox (and junk folder!) for your artwork approval email. If we don't hear back within 48 hours, your design may be sent to print as shown to avoid unnecessary delays. Will the colours match exactly? We're very particular about colour and quality, and every print is checked before being sent out. However, colours may appear slightly different depending on your screen or device settings. Can I return a personalised print? Because personalised prints are made especially for you, they are non-refundable unless they arrive damaged or faulty. Do you create bespoke artwork? Sometimes! Who is behind cheekymono? Hello! I'm Sara, creative, designer, children's yoga teacher and founder of cheekymono. Inspired by my Peruvian heritage, my children and a love of joyful living, I create colourful artwork, curate ethical treasures and hold space for families through yoga and creative experiences. Why Peru? My family connection to Peru runs deep through my mum, Lita. The country's vibrant colours, textiles, folk art and craftsmanship inspire everything I do. That's why 5% of profits are donated to Project Peru to support women and children through education and community projects. Do you have a physical shop? Not currently. You can find cheekymono online and at occasional pop-up markets and community events around Folkestone and Kent.
