Reflecting on 2025 and another year of cheekymono

As 2025 draws to a close, I wanted to take a moment to reflect on my proudest cheekymono achievements this year.

After a two-year hiatus for maternity leave and toddler life, restarting the business has been a joy. I’ve expanded my product catalogue, started hand-painted canvases, built connections with the Folkestone maker and small business community, participated in three wonderful markets, and even celebrated a record sales day for Dia de los Muertos!
But the highlight of all has been the impact we’ve made together.
Thanks to your support through purchases, I’ve been able to fund a week’s worth of care for five children at Project Peru Refuge, on the outskirts of Lima. Your continued support allows these children access to education, creative workshops, sports, and community care. Their Christmas appeal is still open – if you’d like to help, please like, share, or donate via their JustGiving page. Every contribution makes a real difference.
Thank you for supporting cheekymono this year, for embracing handmade, local creativity, and helping make meaningful impact possible. Here’s to a joyful, creative, and generous 2026!
