June Round-Up: Yoga, The Curious Club and a Summer Pop-up Market

Wow… it’s been a busy few weeks. I feel like I start every one of these posts saying that, but this month really has been full-on in the best possible way.

There’s been a real shift in energy lately, a gentle but clear movement towards the next chapter of Cheekymono. The heart of it all hasn’t changed... I’ll always be selling my prints and fairtrade Peruvian pieces, and I’ll always return to why I started this in the first place: joyful living, colour, and creativity in everyday life.
But I’m also feeling really inspired right now. Inspired to make more work, to create new prints, and to explore new directions that are coming very soon. Watch this space... there’s more colour on the way.

I do this because I want to help create colourful homes and remind children (and grown-ups too) of the joy that’s all around them. To support curiosity, creativity and expression. And I also do it to raise money for the charity I support, Project Peru. If you’d like to read more about that, please check out my page sharing all about them and my why.
So what’s been happening?
This week marks the launch of The Curious Club, which I’ve been so excited to bring to life. Our first session is on Friday 19th, and I feel really humbled that two families have already booked on. Of course I hope more will join us, but honestly I’m just so grateful that people have chosen to spend time with me and this idea.
I’m genuinely so excited to begin.
Then on Saturday we have our special Summer Solstice Family Yoga session — a beautiful moment to come together, move, breathe and celebrate the longest day of the year outdoors. It’s one of those sessions that feels really special to hold space for.
The rest of the month will be spent preparing for July’s Curious Club sessions (on the 10th and 19th July), and getting ready for the Summer Sizzle Fayre at Sandgate Primary School, where Cheekymono will be popping up. I’m hoping to bring some new prints along with me for that too.

I’ve also made some lovely new connections within the community off the back of all of this, and I feel really happy watching things slowly grow in this way. It feels grounded, connected and full of care.
Here’s to more colour, more joy, more creativity, and more community, all circling back to thoughtful living and painting your world the way you want it to be.
With love for all the little ones 💛
