A huge thank you to everyone who came down to my Sip & Shop event at the weekend — what a joyful day it was! Sandgate Deli was buzzing with creativity, colour, and conversation from start to finish.
The kids absolutely stole the show at the craft table — making incredible Halloween collages, Día de los Muertos colouring bunting, and spooky bracelets. I can’t tell you how happy it made me to see so many little artists completely absorbed in their creations. I just love seeing kids getting crafty — it’s what it’s all about!

Meanwhile, the grown-ups were more than happy with their own creative fuel — my Pisco cocktails went down a treat! We got through four jugs in total (cheers to that!). For anyone who missed it, here’s the simple recipe to recreate a jug at home: Pisco, ginger ale, sugar syrup, and plenty of lime juice — garnish with lime and serve over ice. Refreshing, easy, and dangerously drinkable!

The beautiful Jess, pictured above, wears the Guatamalan beaded tassel earrings. To all the lovely ladies who snapped up my statement earrings — I can’t wait to spot them out and about this spooky season!
I was also thrilled by how many of you connected with my artwork and curated products — thank you for taking home so many of my prints, hand-painted canvases, and Day of the Dead pieces. From neon skulls and crosses to colourful retablos, it means the world to see these pieces heading off to their new homes.

A special thank you to Sandgate Deli for hosting the pop-up and for being such a joy to work with. Their sandwiches and toasties kept me fuelled all day long (and yes — they were as good as they looked!). If you haven’t visited yet, they’re open Wednesday to Sunday and always have something interesting going on — from pop-ups and exhibitions to creative classes & yoga. Follow them on Instagram to see what’s coming up next. And if you’re a cheese lover… well, you’re in for a treat!
Even more special, through this event, cheekymono has helped fund a week’s worth of boarding for three children at the Project Peru refuge. It’s a small but truly meaningful step, and I couldn’t have done it without your support.
Finally, I’m already dreaming up the next event — a Christmas Pop-Up Market! I’ll be joining forces with some other amazing Sandgate creatives, so stay tuned for details.
For now — thank you again for showing up, shopping small, and sharing the love. I can’t wait to pop up again soon!
