Service Description
A fun, relaxed yoga class designed especially for children, combining movement, simple yoga poses, breathing, mindfulness and relaxation. Sessions are led by a fully qualified children’s yoga teacher and are carefully designed to be age-appropriate, welcoming and accessible to all abilities. Children will have the opportunity to build confidence, body awareness and focus, while learning to move, breathe and relax in a positive environment. Autumn Term 2026 Wednesdays 3.10 - 4.10pm 6 sessions = £48 Dates: September 9th, 16th, 23rd, 30th, October 7th and 14th Who is the class for? This class is currently open to children who attend Sandgate Primary School and are in Reception, Year 1 or Year 2. After school arrangements: At the end of the school day, children will be safely escorted from their classroom to the yoga class inside Sandgate Primary School by a member of school staff. They will have time to use the bathroom and get comfortable before the session begins. They do not need any PE or Sports Kit to participate, children will be asked to remove their shoes. We advise that any child wearing a skirt or dress should also wear cycle/modesty shorts so they are dressed properly for class, these shorts can be worn through the day or there's time to put them on before the class begins in a suitable changing space. At the end of the class, children will be safely escorted to the main school reception area, where parents or an approved guardian should be ready to collect them promptly at 4.10pm. What does my child need? No yoga equipment or sports kit is needed. Mats and all props will be provided. Please send your child with: * Their normal school uniform and shorts if they're wearing a dress or skirt. Children can practise yoga in their socks or bare feet, trainers are not required. * A water bottle About your instructor Sessions are led by fellow Sandgate mum, Sara Wright. Sara is a fully qualified yoga teacher with specialist training in children’s yoga. Classes are designed to be fun, supportive and accessible, with a focus on helping children develop confidence, body awareness, mindfulness and a positive relationship with movement. All sessions are delivered with the appropriate safeguarding, DBS and insurance requirements in place.

Cancellation Policy
6-Week Term Booking Policy & Terms These terms apply to all 6-week term bookings at Sandgate Primary School. These classes are only available to book as a full six-week term; single-session bookings are not available. Before you attend; by booking, you confirm that: • You have completed the required registration/waiver form for each child attending. • You child is fit to take part. • You have shared any relevant medical information, allergies or additional needs. • You understand that yoga involves physical activity and some inherent risk. • You understand that participation is voluntary and at your own discretion. A waiver must be completed before your first class. Please contact us if you have not completed one yet. Bookings & Cancellations • Full payment is required at the time of booking. • Term bookings are non-refundable and non-transferable. • Missed sessions cannot be refunded or carried over. • If you can no longer attend a number of remaining sessions, please contact us as soon as possible so we can try to help. • If we need to cancel a session, we will offer an alternative session where possible. If this is not possible, a refund may be offered for the cancelled session. Behaviour We aim to create a calm, kind and inclusive space for everyone. Participants are expected to treat others with respect, listen to guidance and avoid behaviour that could put themselves or others at risk. We reserve the right to ask guardians for support if behaviour is unsafe or seriously disruptive in class and if appropraite, to consider a childs' place in future sessions. Photos & Phones No photos will be taken of participants and phone usage will only be in an emergency. In accordance with Sandgate Primary Schools smartphone policy, no phones should be bought into the class by participants. Liability Cheekymono, its instructors and the venue cannot accept responsibility for injury, loss or damage arising from participation, except where responsibility cannot legally be excluded.
