The gourd fish have been lovingly crafted by Peruvian artisans who hand etch the gourd ornaments using pyrography, each one is totally unique as the artist uses the natural shape of the gourd to create the fish's character. Use them as a fun decorative addition to any kids playroom or bedroom, a musical prop to accompany story time or as a rattle for baby. We've carefully sourced these fish figurines avoiding factories and gone directly to Peruvian artisans so that when you buy from us, the proceeds support them, creating a fairer, better wage.

We try to use recycled packaging for all of our orders so you can expect to receive your item in a pre-used carton or container but don't worry, it will still reach you in perfect condition.

When we can't use a pre-loved box, we'll use recyclable packaging envelopes and paper tape made from 100% recycled fibres.

We encourage you to re-use your packaging either to mail other items or in crafts with your little monkeys - the hours of fun that can be had with a cardboard box are priceless!
We're sure you'll be happy with your order but should you wish to return it, we accept returns of all un-used, non-personalised prints and products.

Please note that the items need to be unused and returned in their original packaging to be eligble for a refund. Please also note that refunds exclude the cost of delivery and the cost of the return is made by the customer. If you wish to make a return, please contact us and we'll be happy to help.

We are very particular about colour and quality and all products are quality checked before being sent out, however, please be aware that colour appearances on your computer, digital or mobile phone screens can vary slightly.
One of our motivations for setting up Cheekymono was to try and support women and children from our ancestral motherland.

We do this by donating 5% of profits to charities that help support women and their families in Peru.

We also take care when sourcing our clothing and homeware to ensure that the artisans who make our products, usually women, are paid fairly and produce their crafts in good working conditions. We support Fairtrade factories and are against child labour and animal cruelty, working with our suppliers to ensure these practices are not used in the production of our products.
