November Update: Christmas Shop is here & Exciting Times Ahead

It’s officially that time of year — the shops are filled with fairy lights, I've heard a Christmas song on the radio! The party invites are coming in and mulled-wine whispers are in the air, and so I’m thrilled to share that our Christmas Shop has launched!

You’ll find thoughtful, sustainable treasures with gifts for her, gifts for the kids, stocking fillers, handmade decorations, prints and cards — each one designed with care for the planet and made to bring joy this festive season.

🌈 Proudly Supporting Colour Friday

As always, I’ll be skipping the Black Friday rush and proudly celebrating Colour Friday instead. Colour Friday is a brilliant campaign created by the amazing Holly Tucker to shine a light on small, creative and independent businesses like mine.

Instead of the rush and overwhelm of Black Friday, Colour Friday is all about slowing down, shopping with heart and choosing handmade pieces that bring real joy. It’s a celebration of colour, creativity and community — everything cheekymono stands for.

You can read more about the movement and how it started over on Holly & Co’s Colour Friday page. I also encourage you to click on the image above to see a short video published in 2024 which sums up beautifully why this year on Friday 28th November we'll be embracing colour, not Black, Friday!
